SHUWA SHUWA☆Deaflympics!
The 25th Summer Deaflympics Tokyo 2025 will be held in Tokyo for the first time in Japan.
In preparation for the event for deaf athletes, we have created a “SHUWA SHUWA ☆ Deaflympics!”to provide the opportunity for children to have fun learning sign language.
Let’s sing and dance together to cheer the deaf athletes!!

【What is the “SHUWA SHUWA ☆ Deaflympics!”? 】
Tokyo Metropolitan Government created the dance song “SHUWA SHUWA☆Deaflympics!” with the aim for children to become familiar with sign language towards the 25th Summer Deaflympics held in Tokyo for the first time in Japan.
You can find a total of 12 words in sign language in this song which express greetings, emotions, or cheers for the athletes. Let's try it and dance together!
“SHUWA” (Sign Language)
Place the index fingers of both hands facing each other, up and down, and rotate them alternately.
“KONNICHIWA” (Hello)
1. Place the index and middle fingers on the forehead
2. Bend the index fingers of both hands
1 represents noon on the clock.
